Following the Lead... actor

I'm a nerd at heart. Many are and won't admit it but I can't escape it. Everyone says I should be a librarian- I look like a librarian. Right, a librarian who likes mosh pits and would have her body covered in tattoo's if I thought it wouldn't ever effect job interviews (sorry, some DO look down on that). I do have that quiet way about me, though, so i get where it comes from. So I'm a nerdy librarian.

I gave into nerd pressure and watched the series Firefly, and its follow-up movie Serenity this weekend. Hi, I'm the newest member of the Nathan Fillion's a HOTTIE club.

Common, look at that sexy half smile and those beautiful eyes.
I'm bias, and I still think my husband's hotter.. but I'd take this as a runner-up!

Which, of course, convinced me to DVR Castle. 

Anyone watch Psych? Raise your hands, please. And now you have its theme song stuck in your head, right? Yeah, me too. 

 ♫ I know... you know.. that I'm not telling the truth.. I know... you know.. they just don't have any clue ♫

I digress.

Castle is very much like Psych, and now that they're well into many seasons (not sure how many) I can rest easy they are not going away as quickly as Firefly did. 

You see, I had a love affair once. It was called Dark Angel

And it was about a kick-ass genetically empowered woman trying to survive on the streets in a broken, 3rd world America. 

...Come to think of it, thigh might have done better in today's economy than when it originally aired. More people can relate to broken America now.

Where was I? Right, love affair- thanks. My beloved show was ripped away from me. I can still watch it on DVD (which I own) but it's just not the same, knowing that after 2 seasons it's gone from me. It had such potential! And so many hotties, bot for men and women to enjoy!

The stars did well for themselves. Jessica Alba, the cause of the show's cancellation (she wanted more money, Fox said No) went on to be a Fantastic 4 and do some other stuff that I haven't watched. Michael Weatherly went on to NCIS, as well as several other cast members making guest appearances. Jensen Ackles went on to Supernatural. All did well, but it'll never be the same as Dark Angel. 

But I'm glad I let myself experience Firefly. If you haven't seen it yet, go get it from Netflix.
