I read another blog, whom I have forgotten or I would give credit, suggesting to use baby oil to make a razor last longer. Yes, please! One of the blog comments even said it helps with those red bumps some of us (me! me!) get when shaving. Day 2 of trying this product. Maybe it's too early to tell, and I will update this if I change my opinion, but so far I am in love with this concept! I can see how it would make your razor last a little longer because it adds almost a protective coat to it to prevent it rusting out.
UPDATE: It's been about a month since I started using baby oil and I L-O-V-E it! My legs are super soft now. I used to have to apply lotion on them after showers because of chronic shaving scales. No more! And my razor really lasted forever! The only downfall was in my choice of razor. I tried this at first with my intuition (replaceable blade) and it gets clogged with the hair after a while. The baby oil makes the hair stick to the intuition handle- kinda gross.
Not a bad problem, though, it's actually a good problem! Those razors are more expensive. I was using them for the built-in shaving gel concept. I don't need that concept anymore, so I can elect for cheaper razors now! Baby oil, if you aren't just the gift that keeps on giving!
