Quotes For Thought

I'm reading a book one of the professors at my work wrote (which I will later review on the other blog) and can't help but enjoy the wonderful quotes he has at the beginning of each chapter.  To share a few:

Good judgement comes from bad experience, and a lot of that comes from bad judgement.- Will Rogers
Experience is something you don't need until after you need it.- Contemporary Zen
The journey of a thousand miles begins with a broken fan belt and a leaky tire.- Contemporary Zen
Sometimes there's nae better way to kill a dragon than to charge right up to it and shove a spear down its throat.- Michael Murphy
Before you criticize someone, you should walk a mile in his shoes. That way when you criticize him, you're a mile away and have his shoes.- Contemporary Zen

Happy Tuesday to all!
