Blogging about a blogger

Stumbleupon.com is my super awesome friend at work. I have a lot   LOT    L-O-T of downtime at my job, and I fill that time (after I've wiped every surface and re-read every policy I can- I do try to do work, too, when nothing's given to me.) by searching stumbleupon.com. A lot of my inspiration for this blog comes from things there.

I have found a great little blogger! I think she's my new hero! From searching her other blog I've learned she's Aunie Sause. She's seeking to do a full year without using hair product or heating tools and seems to be doing it to support charity!

What I ADORE about her site is the hairstyles she comes up with. I am not a fan of product or heat products anyway. I always felt I was a girl born without that genetic chromosome that makes a girl want to spend hours playing with her hair and make-up. I want something fast to get on my day. I'd rather spend my time watching TV, playing games, and knitting. (Odd mix, I know, but that's me; an odd mix.) These hair styles keep away from the things I hate, but still are creative and seem semi-simple! I've already done a few of her ideas on my own hair:

like the head-band wrap to create curls- complete with awesome grooves for the headband & no make-up. I found them from scattered sites, though. It's nice to go to 1 spot and check out multiple things I like. It's like shopping at Walmart to get groceries & home goods vs having to go to 2 places. So thank you, Aunie, for giving me awesome new looks to try out at 1 spot!
